This also means that there is greater gross content to consume for the user who is actively engaging with these blockchain decentralized apps.
More content creators are able to generate revenue through these apps by tying up with the developers and monetizing their content. This also catalyzes a content creator’s growth and popularity boom, as they don’t have to meet any follower number or criteria to have their content promoted, unlike in mainstream corporation-owned social media apps.
This also provides more options to monetize content for creators, with subscription plans a prominent stratagem, shying away from the click-based paid ad revenue scheme that is the staple for almost all PPC companies in Canada.
The open-source nature of the blockchain makes the content that is available on it globally accessible, free from geo-restrictions as in the case of apps that are controlled and gate kept by corporations.
These factors make DESO such a promising invention, and bubbling up the pot of conversation around this venture suits the narrative for all parties involved, be it the developers, creators or consumers.
